Exploring
Our Potential

For over a century, BYC has worked to empower, educate, and support young people in Dublin’s north inner city.

Exploring Our Potential

BYC is the country’s oldest youth club. From our custom-built premises on Lower Buckingham Street (Dublin 1) we offer a range of services to young people aged between 7-24. We help our members to build their self-confidence, become more resourceful, and find their voice.

youth workers and assistant youth workers

Dublin’s north inner city has been negatively affected by years of under-investment. Breaking the cycle of marginalisation is a key goal of BYC. We provide a safe environment for young people to meet up, learn, and – of course – have fun!

Qualified youth workers and specialist trainers work hand in hand with volunteers and third-level students to deliver our programmes and activities. These are designed to teach practical skills as well as life skills.

Become a volunteer

Volunteering is a wonderful, rewarding experience. Make a gift of your time to BYC. Come along and share your experience, skills, or knowledge with our members.

Become a corporate partner

Our strategic partnerships with corporate bodies are vital to the success of our programmes. Talk to us about how working with BYC could become part of your CSR activities.
